Country Ranking is based on the results of each association's clubs in the five previous UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League seasons. The rankings determine the number of places allocated to an association in the forthcoming UEFA club competition.
Final version of Country Ranking 2012/2013 (after end of Champions and Europa League 2012/2013) will determine number of places allocated to associations for Champions League 2014/2015 and Europa League 2014/2015 (not 2013/2014 because allocation of places must be known before start of league competitions, not after the end). For example Austria will end at 12. position, so winner of next Austrian Bundesliga (in season 2013/2014) will start in Champions League group in season 2014/2015.
Numbers in columns indicate earned points in given season. Column "clubs" indicates number of clubs in current european season (still in competitions / total number of clubs).
There is an access list next to the table. In blue color is access list for Champions League season 2014/2015 and orange color indicates access list for Europa League season 2014/2015. Numbers indicate league position (1 = winner of league, 2 = second team in league and so on) and C = winner of domestic cup. Top row shows where each club will start (LR / CR = League route qualification / Champions route qualification). Lines indicate differences in access list between final positions.
